Content Removal Policy
How content is reported, restricted, and removed
The English version of these policies controls. Any translation is provided only for convenience.
Anyone may ask Averlo, LLC to review or remove content on Sugar AI at https://sugarai.fun/ or https://sugarai.art/. You do not need an account, a purchase, copyright ownership, or a prior relationship with us. This procedure covers community posts and privately generated or platform-supplied content we can locate.
1. Reporting Channels
Send a request to [email protected]. For follow-up or appeal, use [email protected]. The Complaints Policy at /complaints explains the process. It is not a submission form. We route a request received through another published Sugar AI support channel internally without resetting the receipt time. A person depicted, their authorized representative or another concerned reporter can contact us.
Describe the concern and supply enough location information to find the item, such as the domain and URL, post/character/content ID, account name or time. A screenshot is optional and must not reproduce suspected illegal child sexual abuse material. Provide a safe contact method if you want an outcome notice. Tell us if there is an immediate safety risk.
2. Non-Consensual Intimate Images — 48-Hour Procedure
Real-person sexual images, manipulated intimate images and intimate digital forgeries are prohibited. To submit a valid removal request on behalf of a depicted person, provide:
- A physical or electronic signature of the depicted individual or someone authorized to act for them; typing a name can be an electronic signature.
- Identification of the intimate image or video and information reasonably sufficient to locate it on our service.
- A brief good-faith statement that it was published without the depicted person's consent, plus any relevant information that assists identification.
- Contact information sufficient for us to communicate with the requester about the request.
Example statement: "I am the person depicted or am authorized to act for that person. I believe in good faith that the identified intimate material was published without their consent. Please remove it. My electronic signature is [name]."
We remove the identified material as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after receiving a valid request, and make reasonable efforts to locate and remove known identical copies on our services within that period. We apply this service standard across both Sugar AI domains. Where the TAKE IT DOWN Act or another law applies, this process also supports those duties. The requester does not have to locate each duplicate or submit a copyright notice.
We do not routinely require government ID, notarization, a police report or a court order as an additional condition of a valid request. If genuinely necessary information is missing, we identify it promptly and still take available urgent protective action. Verification cannot be used to postpone a deadline that has already begun. We communicate the action or reason for a decision to the extent lawful and safe.
3. Real-Person Resemblance and Other Grounds
Only fictional adult characters are permitted, including realistic-looking virtual people. A creator's claim that a picture is "AI" does not end a resemblance complaint. We assess identity, context, source information and the likelihood that someone is identifiable. A person's own uploaded picture and supposedly licensed or consensual real-person content are also prohibited under the current product rules.
We also review requests about children, trafficking, coercion, privacy, doxxing, impersonation, illegal material, intellectual-property infringement and other policy violations. Copyright notices have a separate DMCA procedure; a non-copyright reporter can use this removal procedure without that formal notice.
4. Immediate Action and Ordinary Deadline
We acknowledge reports within 24 hours. Credible serious safety concerns receive immediate escalation and provisional access restrictions. Once review establishes illegal content, we remove access immediately. An ordinary content complaint is reviewed, decided and answered within seven calendar days after receipt. The 48-hour process above and any shorter applicable deadline take priority.
Removal includes the accessible post or output and affected previews, thumbnails or links within our control. We check the other Sugar AI domain for the same item and known duplicates. Necessary evidence may be retained under restricted access for legal reporting or preservation; that is not permission to keep it publicly accessible. We cannot directly remove a third party's independent off-platform copy, but we provide appropriate information about available reporting routes.
5. Depicted-Person Consent Review and Neutral Resolution
A depicted person can request removal at any time on the basis that consent is missing, outside its agreed scope or legally invalid. We do not shift responsibility to that person to prove the uploader obtained consent. If valid consent cannot be established or its invalidity is demonstrated, access is removed immediately. Under Sugar AI's stricter product rule, real-person character content remains prohibited even if consent exists.
If Averlo disputes an assertion that consent is legally invalid, the person can ask [email protected] for review by an independent person who is not a Sugar AI employee. Averlo pays the reasonable cost of that review. The person does not have to buy credits, accept the Terms, or use the consumer-arbitration clause to ask for it. Content subject to the dispute stays unavailable during review, and statutory deadlines are not suspended.
6. Appeals, Confidentiality and Recurrence
An affected account holder may challenge a mistaken removal through the Complaints Policy. Our independent internal appeal decision period is seven calendar days. A copyright counter-notice or account appeal does not itself restore content removed for an independent safety, consent or real-person violation.
We limit identifying information and evidence to the personnel and service providers who need it and to disclosures required or permitted by law. We document the request, relevant locations, timestamps, actions and reasons. We take proportionate steps to prevent removed prohibited content being republished and assess related account action. Good-faith requests are free and do not invite retaliation.
